The 4-in-1 Respiratory Test screens for antigens from common respiratory viruses in a nasal swab:
COVID-19: A respiratory infection caused by SARS-CoV-2. It may cause fever, cough, sore throat, tiredness, headache, nasal congestion, body aches or changes in taste and smell.
Influenza A/B: Influenza, often called flu, can come on suddenly and may cause fever, chills, cough, sore throat, muscle aches and strong tiredness. This test includes both Influenza A and Influenza B.
RSV: A common respiratory virus that often causes cold-like symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sneezing, fever and general illness. RSV can be more significant for young children, older adults and people with certain health conditions.
Adenovirus: A virus that can cause cold-like respiratory symptoms such as sore throat, cough, fever and nasal congestion. Some adenoviruses may also affect the eyes or gastrointestinal tract.
Why Respiratory Testing Matters
Many respiratory infections look alike in the beginning. A negative COVID-19 test alone does not tell you whether symptoms could be linked to flu, RSV or adenovirus.

How It Works

Sample Collection
The test uses a nasal swab sample. The swab is inserted into the nose and rotated according to the instructions provided with the kit. The same swab is used for both nostrils.
The swab is then mixed with the buffer solution, and drops are added to the test cassette.
Results are read visually after approximately 10 minutes.

COVID-19, flu, RSV and adenovirus can cause very similar symptoms. Testing several infections at once gives broader information than testing for only one virus.
What does a negative result mean?
A negative result means that the tested virus antigens were not detected in the sample. It does not fully rule out infection, especially early in illness or if the virus level is low.
