Hair mineral analysis is an advanced screening method that provides an in-depth insight into the body’s mineral balance and exposure to heavy metals. The test measures levels of essential minerals and trace minerals, while also identifying potentially harmful heavy metals and toxic substances in the body.
Trace minerals are needed in small amounts but can become toxic in higher doses. Heavy metals and other toxic substances can be harmful even in small amounts and are therefore relevant to analyse.
By analysing a small amount of hair, the test offers a non-invasive method to assess your nutritional status and exposure to harmful substances. For those who do not have enough hair on their head, other body hair can be used.
What do we analyse?
The test includes a broad analysis of the following substances:
- Minerals: Phosphorus, iodine, calcium, potassium, copper, magnesium, sodium, selenium, zinc.
- Trace minerals: Boron, cobalt, chromium, iron, lithium, manganese, molybdenum, silicon, strontium, vanadium, zirconium.
